About this price
Coffee is one of the most traded agricultural commodities. This page shows Arabica coffee using the International Coffee Organization (ICO) indicator price for other mild Arabicas, averaged across the New York and Bremen/Hamburg markets.
Coffee prices are highly sensitive to weather in Brazil and Colombia, so frosts and droughts appear as sharp spikes in the monthly history.
Data notes
World Bank monthly averages, published in US dollars per kilogram. Per-lb and per-tonne values are exact conversions. Futures prices (ICE) are not used because they require an exchange licence.
