About this price
Henry Hub in Louisiana is the delivery point for the main US natural gas benchmark. Prices are quoted in US dollars per million British thermal units (MMBtu) and react strongly to weather, storage levels, production and liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports.
Natural gas is one of the most volatile commodities: cold snaps and hurricanes can move the spot price by large percentages within days, which shows clearly in the daily chart.
